The steps we take to ensure that your financial life in Italy is managed correctly and to minimise the worry of ever being contacted by the Italian tax man.

When you contact us for the first time we will send you some information about our services, how we charge and our terms of business.

Introductory call with Gareth

We can arrange a video and/or telephone call for us to learn more about each other. This is when we come to understand where you are today, your general financial situation in relation to your residential tax status and what is on your mind. From this meeting we can both decide if we are a good fit.

Discovery meeting

Once we have decided if we want to work together I will ask you to provide me with any additional information I need to understand your situation in more detail, so that when we next talk I will have a clear picture of your current financial situation and can dig into the questions that brought you to us in the first place.

1. To ensure that you don’t have any problems with the Italian tax man, and should any contact arise, then we have proactively prepared for that event.
2. Manage and plan your finances to minimise tax liabilities in Italy.
3. Simplify your financial life. Italy is complicated enough without additional money worries.

Follow up and implementation

Once I have analysed your financial information, I will draw up a financial plan which we can discuss and review together to make sure it does what you want it to do. If your situation needs more in depth analysis, then I will use cash flow forecasting software to help me build a fuller picture of where you are today and what you can do in the future. In addition, should we need more specific legal or accounting advice, then I can always pull on my professional contacts (lawyers and commercialisti) to help us out.

At the end of these discussions, if you are in agreement I can get things moving and prepare any necessary documents required for the next steps.

We will either meet in person or complete matters online. My assistant or I will be in touch at this stage to help guide you through the process of opening accounts, transferring assets where appropriate, and I will confirm what you can expect from the partnership with me and The Spectrum IFA Group.

Strategy meeting

In this final stage I will contact you to confirm the plan we have put in place together. We can review any outstanding items, as well as the investment philosophy, your online access, how and how often to meet to conduct future review meetings.

Begin ongoing service process

Finally, now that you are a client we can begin our review and regular contact process. You will have access to me through phone, messaging and email. Welcome on board!
